International history

After completing the course, the student understands the main trends of the historical development of international relations and the international system. They are familiar with the key concepts and research approaches of the subject and specialise in one of its key themes. After completing the course, the student has the basic skills to apply their historical knowledge to the evaluation of past and current phenomena in world politics, as well as the basic knowledge necessary and expanded upon in later studies of the subject.

Osallistuminen opetukseen: Lähi- ja/tai verkko-opetuksena toteutettava kurssi ja siihen sisältyvät tehtävät ja kirjallisuus

Tentti: Opiskelija tutustuu kirjallisuuteen ja vastaa kirjallisuutta koskeviin essee- tai kirja-arviotyyppisiin kysymyksiin examinarium-tentissä.

Vuosittaiset mahdolliset muut suoritusvaihtoehdot täsmennetään opetusohjelmassa.

Arviointimenetelmät ja -kriteerit

Arvioinnissa otetaan huomioon kaikki suoritusten osa-alueet ja edistetään itsearviointia.

Pakollinen poliittisen historian opintosuunnan opiskelijoille.

Mahdollinen avoimena yliopisto-opetuksena järjestettävä opetus ja sen opiskelijamäärät määritellään erikseen vuosittaisessa opetusohjelmassa.
