After completing the course Paediatric Nursing, you:
- know the principles and regulations governing paediatric nursing and how to apply them while upholding the principles of sustainable development
- know the key measures and methods used in paediatric nursing
- are able to apply your knowledge of disabilities when nursing a child or young person with intellectual or physical disabilities
- know how to assess a patient child or young person’s need for care
- know how to apply knowledge of medicine, nursing and medically assisted treatment when planning, implementing and evaluating care for children and young people, pain management and safe medically assisted treatment in cooperation with families
- know how to guide the patient and their family at different stages of care.
