This module is at the Master's level. The module is intended for you who have already completed a Bachelor's degree.

During the module, you familiarise yourself with strategic management in the changing operational environment of companies and organisations, strategy-oriented competence management and change management in different change processes. Strategic Management 5 cr You are able to analyse changes in the organisation's operational environment and utilise the results in the organisation's strategic management. You can interpret the current state of the organisation and apply it to strategic planning. You can develop the organisation's strategy process or a component thereof using the key concepts of strategic management. You can draw up a strategy or part thereof for an organisation and its implementation plan. Competence Management 5 cr You know how to manage and develop the organisation's competence capital in a strategy-oriented manner by anticipating the future competence needs of the sector. You are able to assess the significance of competence needs and competence management and leadership as part of strategic personnel management. You gain control of areas of human resources management. You can draw up a plan for strategic competence management for your organisation. Change Management 5 cr You know the key concepts of change management, the success factors of the change process and the phases of the proactive change process required in the planning and management of a change project. You are able to analyse the significance of communications and engaging activities in different change situations.
