On the course, students read texts on their field of study, on the world of work and studying, and do related exercises on vocabulary, grammar and reading comprehension. Students learn vocabulary through course materials and presentations. The course applies a text-based approach also to grammar: the course focuses on the texts written by the students as well as on the grammatical structures used in the texts read on the course.
