Introduction to Operations Management (open uni, spring 2026)

(NB! There may be still changes to the study and assessment methods during autumn 2025.) Independent (self study) course integrated into degree teaching. Three (3) contact teaching sessions on campus (NB! no Zoom-sessions): for welcoming and introducing the course, for mid-term Q&A and for a closing session for exam-related questions . If student's aren't based on campus, they can study the materials and send their questions through Moodle. Study and assessment methods: Moodle-based activities and electronic exam in E-exam system. (NOTE! The electronic exam cannot be done online or on your own computer. The exam reservation is done separately in the EXAM system and the exam is done in the EXAM exam space of the University of Vaasa or as an exam visit in the EXAM space of some another higher education institution.)
