- Introduction - Pain and classification of pain - Assessment of pain - Non-pharmaceutical pain management - Medical pain management - Epidural and spinal pain management - Prevention of Chronic Acute Pain - Special populations pain management - Recording of pain nursing and control of the pain patient - Applied Learning Tasks - Recommendations / additional material

Teaching methods

The study takes place according to your own schedule. (Please note the end date of the course) Teaching does not include time or place bound learning. The student independently performs the learning tasks and the last reflection task. Objectives: -understands pain-origin mechanisms -knows the types of pain -asseses the pain management process -knows the drug and non-medicated methods of pain management -be able to consider own activities based on legislation, ethical guidelines and treatment recommendations Content and implementation: -pain-producing mechanisms -types of pain -pain management process -pain assessment -pain management (medicated and non-medicated) -pain management of special groups -the rights of the patient, the responsibilities and duty of the nurse
