Sustainable Development, 25 cr

University of Oulu responds to global challenges with multi- and interdisciplinary expertise educating future pioneers to build a more sustainable world. The studies of the Study Module in Sustainable Development (25 ECTS) are carried out in cooperation with six faculties. By studying these courses, you can learn sustainability and responsibility from the perspectives of different disciplines. The Study Module in Sustainable Development consists of a compulsory introduction course Principles of Sustainable Development (5 ECTS) and elective studies (20 ECTS) that you can choose freely from the course selection of the study module. The course selection includes courses both in Finnish and in English. There are also courses in which you can choose either language. Please check the detailed information of each course. You do not need to study the introduction course as the first course of the study module. After you have studied altogether 25 ECTS from the course selection of the Study Module in Sustainable Development, please ask the compilation of the study module. The minimum scope of the study module is 25 credits, but the scope can also be slightly more than 25.
