Are you interested in how scientific research could help the society? Through this videos series you can get an idea how the research conducted at the Faculty of Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine (FBMM) is connected to the health and well-being of individuals. The research focus areas of FBMM are cell-extracellular matrix, protein science, cellular regulatory and metabolic networks and related diseases. The video series showcases some of the research topics such as protein structural research, 3D imaging of tissues, the effects of hypoxia at the tissue level, functions of blood-brain barrier, and cell and tissue models based on microfluidics. The series consists of three videos, each approximately five minutes long, and can be watched at your own pace.
