**Welcome to the fascinating world of cells!**
This course takes you on a journey through the fundamentals of life across four themes:
1. Animal Cell Biology: Dive into the chemistry and structure of cells. Learn how cells communicate and form tissues.
2. Plant Cell Biology: Explore the unique features of plant cells and how they differ from animal cells.
3. Genetics: Understand the role of DNA and genes in life’s diversity and heredity.
4. Animal Physiology: Delve into the body’s key systems and their interactions.
This course is perfect for you if you want to study flexibly, regardless of time and place. The learning material consists of high-quality instructional videos and engaging assignments. Additional learning materials are available if you wish to deepen your knowledge. The teacher is present in the online course and responds quickly to questions.
**Key Contents**
**Animal Cell Biology**
Explore chemical bonds, properties of macromolecules, and cell organelles. Learn how the cell membrane and ion channels function, and how chemical messages are transmitted into the cell to initiate processes. Additionally, we will cover the structural support of cells and their adhesion to each other. With this knowledge, you will understand how cells form tissues and organs, which are the building blocks of your body.
**Plant Cell Biology**
Delve into the organelles of plant cells and their unique features. Understand how plant cells differ from animal cells and how they function. Plants are the foundation of life, and it is fascinating to know what they are made of and how they work.
**Genetics**
What are DNA and genes? How do they guide the construction and functioning of our bodies? Study the structure of DNA, chromosomes, and the genome. Learn about the cell cycle and its regulation, as well as mitosis and meiosis. Discover how heredity works and how genes influence life. Understand how these molecules and processes together create the diversity of life and enable its continuous development.
**Animal Physiology**
Learn about key physiological systems and functions, such as the digestive system, circulation, metabolism, immune defense, nervous system, and musculature. Understand how these systems work together to sustain life.
