Intermediate Course in Italian 1/A (OPEN UNI)

Already familiar with the basics of Italian and want to develop your skills further? In this course you will deepen your knowledge of grammar and expand your vocabulary, especially in the areas of leisure, family and housing. The course continues the introduction to the Italian language by learning more Italian language structures and practising practical situations, while getting to know the Italian culture through different texts, listening, video tapes. The lessons include exercises in structure and listening, as well as conversation and pronunciation exercises in pairs/small groups. The course will cover the following Italian language structures: use of passato prossimo with object pronouns and reflexive verbs, future tense, adverbs, comparison of adjectives and the imperfect. Topics include talking about the past, plans for the future, hobbies, family and home.
