Intermediate Spanish 2 or corresponding skills

After completing the course, students will

• Be able to express and justify their opinions, preferences and attitudes
• Be able to describe past events
• Be able to use Spanish ‘to be’ verbs
• Be able to describe things and phenomena
• Be able to express themselves broadly on general topics in writing
• Be able to discuss different phenomena from the perspective of sustainability
• Be able to utilise collaborative skills and a multilingual environment in information retrieval

There are several completion methods for the course, see the group-specific information for a particular group.

The course includes a great deal of pair and small group work as well as listening comprehension exercises. Vocabulary and grammar are practised through oral and written assignments.

• Active participation (75% attendance) in course sessions and completion of agreed assignments in the time allotted
• Assignments assessed during the course and end-of-course assignment/examination (see group-specific information)
• 36 hours of contact/online teaching (3 cr) and 45 hours of independent study

Assessment focuses on the areas included in the learning outcomes.

Assessment practices: Continuous assessment, feedback by the teacher, self-assessment and peer assessment (see group-specific information)

Students of all faculties, students with a JOO flexible study right, international students.

The course can also be offered as open university education.
