After completing the course Supporting a Traumatized Patient, you: - understand the meaning of traumatization on personal and community level - are able to apply traumainformed approach in human relations work - are able to help and support a traumatized client in the stabilization phase - recognize factors that affect a worker’s work strain - have tools for recovery and promoting well-being - understand factors that affect secondary traumatic stress and you will know tools to prevent it.
