Introduction to International Business

Due to globalization of business operations, companies face increasing international competition and become highly dependent on international markets. As an outcome, in order to survive and stay competitive companies have to internationalize. For this, they need professionals who are capable of working under conditions of constant change, diversity and uncertainty. In this course, students will address how global business environments challenge the management of companies, including marketing and human resource functions, and how they can develop new international business opportunities under uncertainty. By the end of the course students will be able to: * identify and describe the relevant aspects and challenges of IB environment; * understand how global business environment impact on international companies in the following areas of IB: International Management, International Human Resource Management, International Marketing, International Entrepreneurship, and International Sustainability.
