Open programming and database courses: Tools for Programming (enrolment only for those receiving temporary protection)

Typical tools used in the software development process are introduced. These may include tools such as
- version control
- unit testing
- debugging tools
- build automation tools
The programming language used is Python or Java, depending on the implementation and the participants' needs.

This online course is part of the Open Programming and Database Courses (5 - 28 ECTS). The training is intended for those receiving temporary protection in Finland as well as for anyone with the ability to study at a higher education level in English.
The course is organized 2.9.2024–31.7.2025. See the study guide(Avautuu uuteen välilehteen) for information about teaching and study methods. The right to study is valid for the duration of the course.
REGISTRATION AND TUITION FEE Students are selected in order of enrolment. This course is free of charge.
