Hydrological Processes (OPEN UNI)

Recommended optional programme components The course is a prerequisite for most of master level studies.

After the course, the student understands and can describe the main hydrological processes, water movements and hydraulics phenomenon quantitatively through mathematical methods. The student also understands and quantifies the relation between state and flow with rela-tion to snowmelt, evaporation, infiltration and groundwater flow.

Language of instruction Finnish, but also option to complete the course in English. Timing The course is held in the autumn semester during the period 1. It is recommended to complete the course at the 1st autumn semester of the international master program of Environmental Engineering.
